Pan-India release: packaging one film for five languages

A pan-India release is five campaigns running at once. Each audience needs to feel the film was made for them.

Releasing in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi multiplies the audience. It also multiplies the work. Dubbing the trailer is only the start.

Translate the feeling, not only the words

Dialogue that lands in one language can fall flat in another. Trailer edits sometimes need different lines, different beats or a different order of reveals for each market. The emotion has to survive the translation.

Titles and typography in every script

A title logo designed only for English letters often breaks when rebuilt in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil or Malayalam script. Designing the title with all scripts in mind from day one keeps the identity consistent.

Local faces, local references

Character posters can be sequenced differently per market, leading with the actors each audience already knows. Promo cuts can highlight moments that resonate with a specific region.

One calendar, five rhythms

Festivals, holidays and competing releases differ across states. A single global calendar with local adjustments keeps the campaign coordinated without ignoring what matters in each market.

Asset planning

Multiply every asset by five languages and several platforms, and the numbers get large quickly. Planning the full deliverables list early is what keeps a pan-India campaign on schedule.

A pan-India film should feel local in every language it speaks.
